I would say that betting on AMD against INTC is very risky. INTC has been aggressive in ramping up speeds on the Pentium class. Competitors such as AMD can spend a billion to build an Intel clone that is obsolete by the time it reaches the market. This has happened to AMD before. What assurances are there that it won't happen again?
