Used to call them the Sugen of the East. Certain elements in signal transduction have both variant and invariant (relatively) domains. I'm pretty certain that I prefer the parts that ARIA has chosen to focus on.

I'm sorta weak, however, in terms of familiarity with any data (animal models, etc.) that testify to the practical applications of signal intervention.
