Bob- I am responding at a remote facility but have been reading qp manual while away. Basically "and" function is used by inserting AllGroup in front of all conditions which you wish to require. Combining two AllGroup functions will give you an "or" statement either all of group ne or all of group 2. "anyGroup" in front of a bunch of equations says that any item in the group will give a hit - otherwise the "or" function. ANother great feature is the "loop" function which allows you to test for a series of days: Loop(0,-4) will test parameters below it for the last five days. Loop(-30, -34) will do the same for a five day period 30 days ago. "awesome" as they say. I spoke to gary at Qp last wek and they will begin beta testing the new product which will have 6 years of data, commodities if you ike, and 12 quarters of earnings, sales , float, etc. so we can reconsruct our own IBD EPS rankings. The QRS ranking system is updated daily to give a RS which can be plotted or scanned in QP. I am already scanning for rising RS as a condition. I think this will be a good one.
