Hi Nancy,

I know of at least one person on the TA for Beginners who calls them "funnymentals."

If funnymentals are the ones that tell you AOL should be tanking because of all the negative publicity, then count me out.

If funnymentals are the things that tell you that P/Es of 71 are excessive and the stock should tank... then explain why HM has shot up and still seems solid even after cutting their dividend in half?

If funnymentals are the ones that have said for the last 3-4 years that the DOW is too high... 'splain???

As John Murphy says... fundamentals are already built into charts... at least the investors' perceptions of them... and what else counts?

The really hardest lesson I have learned from options trading is that TA works, basic rules work and forget fundamentals.

I just got out of HM today at a 30% profit in 3 weeks or so. The only reason I got out is that the options were expiring in 2 weeks. I tried to get back in with July's but it wasn't meant to be... I'll try tomorrow. My rule - don't own an option that has less than 2 months time to expiration.

NOW IN SPITE OF EVERYTHING I HAVE SAID... IT DOESN'T MEAN I AM RIGHT AND YOU ARE WRONG.... but I'll bet I can make more money my way than you can with yours.

Regards and good luck buying PG puts... and I promise not to laugh when you lose your money.

Bill
