There's a new article in the June issue of Lightwave magazine on the Gradium product. It's not available on-line yet but the hard copy is out.

It looks to me as though the Gradium product would compete in areas where diffraction gratings are used. If applicable in WDM, it would most likely find use in optical mux/de-mux applications. But it's very speculative at this point.

There are better solutions available albeit at much higher prices. They will have to add more value to make much money. Stay tuned.
