Doug and all,

Today, p&f's market and individual sector data and technical indicators are published. These indicators are computed weekly and are of vital importance to a p&f chartist's investment game plan. The Bullish %'s as they're called, are designed to become bullish at the bottom of markets and bearish at the top. Last week, the Oil Service Bullish % moved to Bull Alert status at 14%. When a sector's BP moves to Bull Alert, it signals the best upside opportunity lies ahead for the group. As Tom Dorsey likes to put it, it means the investor now has the ball and he/she should be running offensive plays and should be buying good stocks in the group. Sectors become overbought at the 70% level, so the potential upside is tremendous from here. The price of oil as we all know, holds the key to the future of the group.

I'll post the latest price change for the Oil Service BP later today. Sector reversal's from the brutally low levels such as the 8% the Oil Service BP reverse from, usually occur when the news is still bad for the group. These indicators look ahead, not behind.

Take care,
Bruce
