*OT* Well, last month I received a Collection Notice from a collection agency requesting immediate payment of principle and interest for the Patient First (my PCP) bill that my HMO, Cigna, did not pay. I immediately called the CA giving them the details. The CA called PF and concluded that I had fulfilled my contractual obligation of the bill by paying my copay. Case closed - I hope!

Also in October, I went to PF and was prescribed medication. The following day I went back due to a reaction to that medication. On that second visit, PF told me I did not need to pay a copay and sent me on my way. Last week, two months later, I get a bill for the copay.

Still no more credit card offers coming in the mail. Not a one in a couple of months.

The HMO system stinks!
