Same here. Even worse with junior producers - my biggest loss ever in the market was in William, wim, which is getting done over as a goofball internut play just now, which i find amusing ... this was entirely my own fault, for buying it on the ravings of a Midland Walwyn 'analyst' [rofl] and putting it away and forgetting about it ... then being unwilling to take losses ... and even averaging down!!! without really really looking into the numbers! .. never again. This event sort of coincided with my introduction to the computer and the info available. There's no excuse for ignorance now.

Or for ever - ever! - listening to sell-side 'analysts'.

But the wim loss was still less than the aqp gain -g-

As far as who's 'behind' xcl, i don't know ... but a guy named Shawn Kennedy is the prez. John Sladek knows it inside out and backwards.
Their main project - x-cal.com
I can't vouch for their credibility in any way ... but i have been impressed with John's thoroughness and thoughtfulness.

Myself, i have sort of adopted Diamondworks, in the way that John has xcl and keith massey has jdx ... though with more reservation, as is appropriate in an African situation, imho.
