They are the middleman for selling Rx on-line. The provide links to most major pharmacies. My guess is they get a cut of the transactions. Some of the drugstores are on-line drug stores (like drugstore.com), some are mail order drugstores (such as PCS), and the rest are traditional drugstores (Eckerd, CVS, ...) where you enter your re-fill request on-line before going to the store to pick it up.

If you haven't checked out this site yet you should do so. Also pull up webmd.com and do a comparison. In my opinion, webmd.com is very slow (especially when doing searches) and is not nearly as comprehensive.
