Are you basing these price predictions on TA?
I've been thinking that perhaps something's up -- perhaps news coming soon. Often times a move like this precedes news. Hiring Canion, by itself, should not cause this kind of stir. That, alone, hurts their balance sheet -- more expenses, still no revenue.
The way they are bleeding, due to lack of revenue, I would think hiring another manager indicates confidence that revenues will be available soon. They have to pay this guy, right? Weren't they essentially getting his help without him being on the payroll? I'm thinking this formality signals impending customers, revenues, etc.
All speculation, of course.
Time (what's a few more years?) will tell.
