Yeah, a great speech. That guy pulled it out of his guts. I can remember having black maids during the war in Woodville, Texas, but was never close to one, and, at age 8 or 9, I don't remember having any thoughts of racism, one way or the other. As I think I have mentioned before, I can remember going to a small black church with one of the Maids one Sunday. It was so much like the opening sequence in "The Apostle" that I almost fell out of my seat when I saw the movie.
