You know this already -- When he made the promise, the projected deficit was $400 billion. It turned out to be $1.2 billion and, yes, Obama inflated it a little. But this year's is $900 billion. So it is dropping. Fact.

He shouldn't have to. There is no inherent "deficit crisis."
