Hey, I know Oscar Carboni spouts that you put your "protective" stops in before making a trade, and it is good advice most of the time....I get it, as I have seen the market move some crazy moves over the years. But what do people here do for that? I have not been entering stops, but then I trade so light that if the ES went 100 points against my position it is but a fraction of my account. My problem is that I don't like the overnight markets and how insane they can be for stop runs. The other thing I trade is the mini gold, MCG, which is even thinner, especially overnight. Today I put in some "protective" stops. I used 12 points on the ES and 40 points on the MCG.
