FWIW, I think we're seeing investors willing to accept the potential for further downside risk because they feel there will be a bounce (at least) when the election issue and the Fed position are settled and known.

For my part, the markets have finally made me suspect any rally. I'm not willing to enter even a stink bid on some of the stocks I follow closely.

If this rally fails this afternoon, I'm expecting quite a sell-off.
If the Fed adjusts its position tomorrow, I'm expecting quite a rally.

I'm about 40% cash.
I'll be happy with either.
