David:
You make some great points and I agree with you. Lucent removed Octel from center stage...that being from top of the VM market to more of a global BIG telco's type of battleground. Thanks but no thanks. Lucent can keep Octel and do whatever they need to get the volume of end user market share that suits their fancy. They need to be very carefull now and stick to the basic big business management principles that have brought them to the mountaintop and made lots of happy LU shareholder...for now. They are in a global market with the big boys. AT&T's internal squabbling and troubles...moving board members around like in a chess game? And with BT, Ericcson, Nokia, MCI and lots of others just wait'in to pounce. Microsoft and Intel watch'in from the sidelines! Good! I invite all to the DLGC thread. Please read what Jay Harris and I have to say. The Octel/Lucent deal puts Dialogic in a great position....that is as long as they perform.

Good luck to all.
