I would not be in hurry to join facebook. In reference the previous msg

All I can say is it took em a while to figure that out. I have some friends who are academically very well endowed with all sorts of advanced qualifications in science and geekery. They have not figured it out either.

My suggestion is "count your blessings" and head for the personal privacy hills while there is still time. There is not much personal privacy these days so hang on to what you already have.
