Bill, It took me 8 days to have my stock moved from DLJ to NDB. I was holding long so I was not too worried bout my investments. The actual time my account was out of action however was 2 days. Which could be a life time at the wrong moment. I'd start a new account, start building it by doing a DTC between accounts of the fast movers (this happens overnight) and then put in a request to move the remaining long term stuff. It worked for me!
