To get results.

To imply that Aber should have seen the test results in the chemistry leads me to believe that "tests" are redundant.

Do companies have to test or don't they ?

I think the agreement may have been formed at a time when Aber was less certain of the projects they would pursue and was dropped as a matter of course.
Is this not more likely ???
