Both Dow and NDX-100 went near/above 200-day ema intra-day and closed below. The last time this happened was on Dec 2nd. The Dow hasn't closed above 200-day ema since May 2001! I think the Naz actually did so in Dec 2002. If we start closing above 8854 on the DOW and 1106 on the NDX, look out above! By comparison, MSFT closed above 200-day ema late october and has been a strong stock in terms of not falling too much below that level. Also, its 200-day ema is sloping upwards.
For people talking about 950 level, the 200-day ema also happens to be at 949 right now! I don't think we will hit that if we are move lower from here. This is correlating with the other indices of course.
This is either a great shorting opportunity OR a great buying one. Set your marks...
