Natural selection prefers an organism with a bit of an optimistic, if not pollyannish, attitude.
Hi Bilow,
I was driving home one day a few years back and waited at a RR crossing for a freight train to pass. Talk about the profound in the mundane, I was humorously surprised with deep insight from a freightyard scholar. Spray painted upon the side of a box car was:
Life, don't take it too seriously, it's not permanent.
I got a 50% on the quiz. Hey, that fits all the coin toss probability theory here a while back. It is not surprising to me that many of us can surmise what read as profound insights, elevating us in the eyes of some others to be more or less 'gifted' in our abilities, only to have that assumption rudely slammed to earth through poor self actions. It often requires an intelligent blue collar mentality, someone less biased toward the cerebral ego, to see an ass h, or a saint, hanging out in exercises of mental verbiage. We all can access evolving frequencies of human thought, it is what we then do with what we access that determines our own level of evolution and our ability to positively contribute to this remarkable human struggle.
