Oh bummer! Under bamah care he too would have be elevated to a higher plateau a long time ago. The panel would never waste time, energy and money on a old dried out alcoholic with a brain tumor. There is just no reasonable way. Well then again he is a Democrat, a Kennedy and a Senator? Then again maybe they would.
Twenty-five percent of the Medicare budget each year is spent on people in their last year of life. Now as economic times become worst and the government needs to cut spending do those people become expendable? How does one know if someone is in his or her last year of life before hand. After the fact seems easier to back guess. Therefore a equation of some sorts is going to be needed to figure out when someone is in his or her last year of life.It doesn't have to be too accurate. In fact it would be better if it actually favored Medicare. Then medicare can save a whooping 25% per year or maybe even more.
