Doren -

I'm partway through that excessively long Ars Technica review, and I must say that I disagree with much of what the reviewer has to say about Leopard's graphic changes. I don't find the slightly translucent Menu Bar to be a problem. I find it perfectly legible. Can you honestly look at the sample screenshots the reviewer has provided and say you have any trouble reading that?

The 3D dock is perfectly useable, too. I think they made it more obvious which applications are open and which aren't. The application icons really seem to "pop", too. In fact, I like it so much that I switched my Dock from the left side of my screen to the bottom on my G5, since it doesn't have the 3D look when it's on the side.

Some people believe that graphic choices they don't like are "wrong", but I don't buy that. Much of this is a matter of opinion.

I am looking forward to reading what the reviewer has to say about the internals of Leopard.
