Thomas C Thank you for the sources of historic, raw market-data. I have checked into the www.prophetdata.com site that you suggested -- and anyone reading along should do likewise; it is impressive. I notice their Stock CD goes back to 1968. I'm headed back for an in-depth evaluation. There seems to be opinion dissonance concerning Metastock's user friendliness. On the other hand, data from the last few months would be a valuable addition. I am reasonably computer literate, but I am weary of learning yet another data-base-spread-sheet format; these data are probably compatible with Excel since you mentioned your "Excel charts." Is this assumption correct? Let me echo the comments concerning the quality of your postings -- both writing style and content are noted and appreciated. Ciao, Ted
