I think Obama would be very foolish to take Hillary as VP.

The image of her and Bill constantly flapping around the White House, sucking up all the oxygen and media attention as they surely would, is one that I simply can't imagine the man as countenancing.

Rather than really trying for the VP slot, my hunch is that she is simply starting a negotiating process that might enable her to get a commitment for a Supreme Court nomination should he win the presidency. If she's never going to become president, that might be a more appealing place to end her career than being the senior senator from New York.
