Charlie,

Actually, I read Security Analysis (I have a reprint of the 1934 edition). It took a long time to get through, and I in no way assimilated more than 10% of what he and Dodd were saying. The book is a lot like reading the General Theory of Employment, Interest, and Money. The goal of the reader should be to grasp the philosophy behind the concepts, not as much the application of the theories. Both Graham/Dodd and Keynes discussed the psychology that drives behavior - a critical factor when attempting to trade in a highly valued and volatile market.
