Bless you. I really appreciate your comments. I think now you know why I dislike hearing so many negative things about public education. While we have problems, and yes, some teachers do need to go, we have many who do good things with kids. I can't tell you how many put in extra hours, buy kids food, clothes, and school supplies out of their own pockets. There are many dedicated, hard-working teachers who make a real difference with kids.
BTW, while I went to public school from grades 1-12, I went to a Catholic college and the priests were Jesuits.:)So, I know just what you mean.
Now, I'm getting off this computer, spending some time with my husband, and letting the rest of the world solve their own problems. LOL
