Even if folks on the other side of this argument are right about this issue, they still totally ignore the history. A fairer thing for them to say is that Bush is continuing the great injustices of past presidents in other wars.
No liberal will ever comment on the FDR camps. I defended them once as something that was acceptible in the time frame they existed and fdrs motivations were as much to protect Japanes citizens from violence as to prevent them from engaging in sabotage. Racism was big back then when the greatest generation was in action. I implore liberals to talk to muslims and see whose rights have been violated. Moslems i know are amazed on how americans have treated them in the face of the 9/11. Look at the difference between the US and France, Germany, and now Australia.
