Heck, kentoo, them crooked MSFT folk is no surprise. But you know I been wondering? See, I can't figure out how you guys know all about this stuff. Like I mean, if this Y2K dealie is so important, then you guys will probably know about it. An' ya know that these companys sure ain't shy about getting the word out about upgrades and bayta testin' and upgrades and new virgins of products and stuff.
So I figure if Microsoft got a patcher deal for that Y2K stuff, then you'll know about it fer sure. Heck, yer smart enough to know about it anyway just by checking the website, and software companies is smart enough to get the word to ya. Gee, they market like there's no tomorrow to get ya to get the "LATEST VERSION or FIX or UPGRADE"
So I gotta be wondering why a company expects to sell a thing that tells you all about this stuff when you know all about "the latest thing" already -- and even if ya don't, the company's gonna spend a gazillion bux making sure (through marketing) that ya'll know about it anyway. So you'll know. so what's the software for? I just don't git it. I mean, heck I'll pick up a few thousand share tomorrow anyway 'cuz I think I like the idea, but I'd sure like to know what I'm missing here. Do ya think it's possible that the new "Y2K compliant version of Windows 98" (with lots of marketing splash 'cuz Y2K is such a buzzword these days) might come out and the world wouldn't know about it somehow? I guess anything's possible. HECK, I don't know nothin' -- all I know is what I read in the papers. =)
