jmac Like usual maybe I bought them to soon. Like you I didn't expect such a big sell-off in Intel. I thought the opposite was going to happen eith window dressing. I guess I should have known that if an article came out and said that was what the money managers were going to do, they would do the opposite. I did the straddle to bring my cost down on the calls. My break-even is 135 and that seems reasonable from here to earnings day. Then again maybe it will go down since everybody thinks its going to up. I was not very confortable with rhe way Intel acted last week, the only caveat I see it was on relatively low volume, Lets see what happens if volume picks up. Thursday should start ugly as I understand it from another thread the SP500 sold off quite a bit( 1 3/4%). We'll see. Rob
