Bill, like religious people, you're position is one of blind faith.

We aren't talking about druggies, we're talking about a gov't policy that has failed. I'm not espousing the use of drugs.

Druggies are crazed.

This is an argument? This justifies our gov'ts prohibition? This justifies the told and untold harm that we're doing to our own citizens? This justifies giving the DEA almost unheard of power that verges on unconstitutional?

Again, I'm not trying to debate drug use, it's there now and has only INCREASED on a percentage basis since prohibition began. Prohibition has done nothing to stem the flow of drugs into this country. As long as the huge sums of money can be made by illegal drugs then we will have them flowing into this country along with all the social ills that come with them.
