Took another look at the 3/16 Investor's Business
Daily article again this eve. The article compared
the growth of the three ("Spirits In The Sky") DBS
companies. The Growth rate (Feb. '97 -- Feb. '98) of
DISH blows away the competition. Ken Langone, Director
of U.S.S.B., expressed the "enormous confusion in the
market-place" bet. U.S.S.B. and DirecTV. "DirecTV and
USSB should be one and the same", Langone said. When
they signed agreements with Bell Atlantic Corp. and SBC
Communications on March 3, USSB stock shot up 16 %.
