Saf T Lok Incorporated Names Curtis Sliwa to Board of Directors

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., May 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Saf T Lok Incorporated (Nasdaq: LOCCD), www.saf-t-lok.com, today announced that it has appointed radio personality and founder
and President of The Guardian Angels, Curtis Sliwa, to its Board of Directors. The addition of Mr. Sliwa increases the number of members of the Board of Saf T Lok from five to six.

Curtis Sliwa is best known, around the world, as the founder and leader of The Guardian Angels, a non-profit, all-volunteer, crime-fighting organization with 28 chapters throughout the
United States and Canada, as well as England, Italy, Sweden and Japan. Mr. Sliwa also spearheads countless public service programs, including food and clothing distribution for the needy and
anti-drug speakers bureaus. In 1994, he founded Cyberangels, the largest online safety and educational program in cyberspace. Mr. Sliwa has also authored several books on self-defense and
safety, making his vision of community service and fighting crime a reality.

Popular co-host of The Curtis & Kuby Show talk radio program, which airs weekdays in New York from 5:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. on 77 WABC Talk Radio, Sliwa is also a frequent guest lecturer
at colleges and universities and makes regular appearances on TV news-oriented programs.

"We are pleased and proud to welcome Curtis Sliwa to Saf T Lok's Board of Directors. His many years of dedication and active participation in fostering community safety and security will
enhance Saf T Lok's efforts to generate greater awareness about the need for reducing incidences of accidental and deliberate hand gun violence," said James E. Winner, Jr., Chairman and
Chief Executive Officer of Saf T Lok.

Curtis Sliwa said, "Saf T Lok's breakthrough technology can significantly contribute to an overall reduction in incidences of gun violence. I am pleased and proud to be a part of a company
whose products greatly enhance firearms security and promulgate greater public safety."

STL Incorporated is the manufacturer of the Saf T Lok(R) hand gun safety locks. The Company's patented combination gun locks, for revolvers and semi- automatic handguns become an
integral part of the firearm so there is nothing to remove, no keys or rings to find and no batteries to fail. The "touch- sensitive" combination allows for operation of the lock -- even in the dark.
Unlike trigger locks, which require guns to be unloaded, the Saf T Lok(R) gun locks attach to the grip or magazine of a handgun and blocks the weapon internally so it cannot be fired, even if it is
loaded and the trigger pulled. Only someone who knows the combination can use the gun or remove the lock.
