Okay, so now IOMG is first to market and now gets to enjoy the benefits -- that is if they stay nimble and proactive. Enjoying the benefits would mean a 60-70% share (conservative side). Looking at just Zip sales, by DiskTrend numbers I get (disclaimer: I never liked math, so feel free to shred my numbers, plus I just couldn't get over 97 potential so I didn't project out any further -- anyone want to take a stab at it):

1997 -- 11 million = 6.6 - 7.7 Zip branded drives
tie ratio of 8:1 (conservative again) = 53.46 - 61.6 million Zip disks next year

This doesn't take into account the annuity stream that is already building from 95-96 sales. I wonder if this razor blade thing might just work.
