I have been impressed with how Obama has calibrated his responses. When he is pushed enough, he will punch back a few times to let folks know he is not a pushover, but he never wallows in the trough long enough to spoil the possibility that he can lead a movement toward a new kind of politics.

Absent any big new kerfluffle, I think Obama has an excellent chance to run a positive campaign based on real concerns. We'll see.
