WHO IS the PIED PIPER?...ANALysts or MD?.... Wow..just got back from Vegas...looks like we're back to square one!..DELL released earnings that just met expectations (and obviously got whacked...from $45 to $35 five days later approx.) dell.com Is this what MD calls firing on all cylinders?..people are questioning that he might have mislead with such an exuberant comment and only to deliver earnings that met expectations.... Concerns: 1. Growth is slowing...P/E therefore cannot be sustained nor justified. 2. Margin is a little bit lower...maybe competition is tougher.. 3. Y2K lock up...slowdown... 4. Greenspan comments on tightening bias... The circumstances... 1. Dow has corrected from the 11,000 level to roughly about 10,700 2. DELL MACD weekly continues to be oversold... 3.
