Tom, Thanks for the link- that's a whole lot of information in one post. Personally I think that any developments that advance the link between TVs & computers is good for all at this early stage. I don't see the interactive TV format as being a serious issue yet since the most important developments are still the HDTV delivery (not just digital) and the cable computer hookups. It also seems like MSFT would concentrate mostly on the software programming aspect of the device, as opposed to the production of the box itself. Maybe this just represent the potential for better software of compression programs that would benefit the whole industry. I think that the COMS/DIGI linkage is another interesting development, but again I'm not sure how it effects GIC.....louis masont
