300 horses for a Honda Odyssey?

I checked the site and they say 240 hp from a 3.5 liter V-6, which is 40 more than any Accord and pretty peppy, nonetheless.

Had an 82 Accord for 13 years that got 29 mpg like clockwork. A timing belt and water pump and pre-combustion cylinder job were the only repairs. Over 150K and still running good, I loaned it to my sister and a wreck cut short it's useful life. It still ran fine but cost of repairs were out of reason.

Torsional stiffness on the VW makes it a better drivers car but the ride will likely be a bit harsher than the Honda or Camry. Hondas and Camrys are stolen more than most cars, maybe an extra item to throw into the choice.
