I wouldn't get your hopes up on this new pentium system, because it has a major flaw which is unacceptible to any potential customer. THE BATTERY LIFE IS 20 MINUTES vs the 8-10 hour battery life of the CDI 586 system. Changing batteries every 20 minutes to keep your mobile computer running can get annoying. The problem is that the pentium chip draws much more power than the 586 chip, which is why CDI is staying with the 586 until a newer pentium chip that will draw less power is expected to be released by Intel next year.

However I have to give XYBR's management a pat on the back for their ability to continue to get outside financing given their miserable results and poor product planning.
