I have a Dummy question:

If the first three characters of an option symbol represent the company then why are we in the AAOxx series until QCOM AAOFN JUN 70 and then we change gears and start a new sequence of AAFxx 's starting with QCOM AAFFO JUN 75?

Why does the company symbol change from AAO to AAF in the middle of the option chain?
