Globus Wireless Ltd. Acquires Edge Continental Inc. Expanding the Company's Wireless Devices Division

Business Editors/High Tech Writers

RENO, Nev.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 14, 2000--

Combination Expected to Boost Wireless Devices
Revenue by $20 Million in Fiscal 2001

Globus Wireless Ltd. (OTCBB:GBWL) today announced it has acquired
Edge Continental Inc. ("ECI"), a wireless products distribution
company, for a combination of shares, cash and debt totaling US$2.55
million.
The effective date of the acquisition is September 1, 2000.
Located in Toronto, Canada, Edge Continental Inc. is an
international distributor of wireless phones and OEM (Original
Equipment Manufacturer) accessories for all platforms including CDMA,
TDMA, GSM, AMPS, iDEN, E-TAC and N-AMPS. With ECI having had over US
$7.0 million in sales during the fiscal 2000 year, Globus gains a
substantial revenue stream and a diverse client base, which includes
carriers, distributors, dealers, agents and retailers.
ECI was founded in 1997 by wireless industry veterans Randy Aquino
and Victor Abuharoon. Under their leadership ECI achieved rapid
growth. By providing exceptional customer service, quality product
representation and competitive pricing, ECI has been able to
differentiate itself from its competition. ECI's business is divided
into two key areas -- OEM wireless accessory and handset distribution
and product clearinghouse services for OEMs and carriers. Since Globus
began integrating ECI into its Wireless Devices Product Distribution
Group this September, ECI has contributed over $5.0 million in revenue
for the Company's fourth fiscal quarter, which ended October 31, 2000.
The expanded Wireless Devices Product Distribution Group is on track
for major growth and is projecting over US $20 million in sales for
the 2001 fiscal year.
ECI designs several proprietary wireless accessory products and
has secured exclusive worldwide distribution for these, as well as
other devices, which complement the existing Globus product lines. The
products, coupled with strong international distribution
relationships, have allowed ECI to develop significant buying power,
which translates into a high value proposition for Globus clients. ECI
operates an efficient distribution with secure, bilingual on-line
ordering and customer support, and a highly knowledgeable staff.
Speaking on the agreement, Gord Walsh, Senior Vice President Sales
& Marketing, Wireless Devices, for Globus Wireless, said, "Having ECI
join our Wireless Devices Product Distribution Group provides
immediate and significant benefits to both parties. From our
perspective, ECI's strong OEM product sourcing capability fits well
with our aftermarket products distribution and ECI's Toronto warehouse
will greatly benefit our Western Canada and US distribution centers.
With ECI' s 900+ dealer and distributors relationships we have an open
door through which to promote our Right Stuff Dealer Program."
Mr. Cary Tremblay, Senior Vice President International
Distribution & Corporate Development of Globus Wireless added, "Edge
Continental has been able to develop much more than a pure
distribution model. They have formed very tight partnerships with
international wireless organizations, placing them on the leading edge
of opportunistic product sourcing. Those same relationships then
provide an outlet for large scale, highly competitive distribution.
And with the business combination, Globus will be able to provide a
complete suite of services to our OEM clients, from product
development SAR solutions through to international distribution of an
OEM's finished wireless device product.
"In order to fully realize the potential of our global sales
network, we recognized the need to add a broader product mix and
multi-warehouse fulfillment," said Victor Abuharoon, President of Edge
Continental Inc. "In addition, by having access to increased
resources, we can take advantage of larger scale product allocations
and exclusive distribution agreements that represent substantial
margin opportunities. It is very evident that by joining Globus, we
will be a much stronger company with the ability to capitalize on
growth opportunities in a timely fashion."
Randy Aquino, Vice President, Edge Continental, adds, "We were
also impressed with the high level relationships Globus has developed
with several OEM handset manufacturers, through their subsidiary,
Celltech Research Ltd. We also see a great opportunity to create
bi-lateral added value from combining our products and client bases."
