ANY earmarks in the stimulus were TOTAL crap. The SICK thing about it is that BOTH Democrats AND Republicans are going to use the "pork" they put into that bill to get themselves reelected. If I'm workin' a job and my Senator or Representative brings money to my area that keeps me workin' then I'm probably NOT gonna be too concerned about deficits or anything when THAT guy kept me workin'. Politics is very parochial these days. I think John McCain might have actually been ABOVE that but the voters didn't seem to consider honor and integrity very important in his case. Maybe we'll get Sarah Palin in 2012. She might be able to straighten everything out.
