The unemployment rate went up for everyone during the recession. As with other recessions, the unemployment rate for blacks is the first to go up; the one for whites is the last. In recovery, the unemployment rate for whites is the first to come down and for blacks, the last.

But yeah, there ain't any racism is these Disunited States.
