Intel may be slow to deliver next generation boards
Industry wisdom says that Intel has been doing exactly the opposite - they have hustled to outperform, out price and execute better to provide a downhill option to people tempted by AMD. They are making some inroads. I think they are finally taking AMD seriously in the low end space, but the results have been good for the OEMs, more and better low end products from Intel and a LOT more attention to making the OEM business model work. When CPQ, IBM and GTW all support AMD, scorched earth just isn't smart.
