re: It only came into the war because of Pearl Harbor it should be noted - before that there was little support in America for intervention in Europe. Pearl Harbor was not about Europe re: If Britain had not held out so bravely on it's own for so long who knows what America would have been able to do? I'll grant you that, if brits would be like french we would be in deep trouble <ggggg> rw: Britain's situation in no way parralels that of Iraq true but it was still killing was not it?
