It was nice to see mostly green in my miners today after a tough week last week. It was also interesting to see the effect of PRs on stock prices.

GVG announced a new JV in Ecuador and closed up 14%.
ML released a PR about the release of the Technical Report for their Mineral Park mine expansion and closed at the HOD +9%.
NWI released a PR announced the nickel company spinout and closed at the HOD +10%.
ANO.TO released a PR that the Copler project is proceeding well and that drilling is underway at their Karagoz, and just sat there.
CMM released some drill results from their San Juan mine in Peru and closed up 4% on big volume..
There was a PR about an analyst report on LBE, which proceeded to sell off.

Also strong were:
BWR +6%, though the warrants didn’t come along
FSY +8% and MGA +3% -- back on track?
WLF +5% should be back over $3 soon.

I’ll give the dog to EPM, down 5%. A buck seems so long ago…

Over in energies, the action was in two places. CNR was down 18% on news of yet more problems in their Manavi (not unexpected by the knowledgeable, but the sheeple get over excited.) TGL had a wide intraday range from $5.24-$5.80 and closed up 4%.

I had an offer in to sell half my LBE at $2.80 while it was selling at $2.75, but it subsequently sold off even as FNI, which I was planning to buy with the proceeds, got away. Oh well.
