Nemazee has been involved in Democratic politics for many years, and after Barack Obama received the Democratic nomination with Hillary Clinton's cessation of her campaign, Nemazee harnessed his energies and talents for Obama. (Nemazee is a former Clinton national finance chairman.) Nemazee has brought all his fund-raising skills - that until recently he was utilizing for Hillary Clinton - to the Obama campaign, and he hosted an event at his own home that raised over $400,000 from people who were all Clinton backers whom he had enlisted.
