No, the only reason I went away from a Mac is I couldn't get software to run the programs I wanted due to MSFT's dominance. Heck, even the Apple ran MSFT Office.
It gets back to the bundling issue. Sure, Netscape is supposed to be a competitor. But in reality, since MSFT comes with IE already in, the average user will not bother trying to find Netscape. So, although one could argue legally MSFT has competition, in reallity they don't.
The proof is in the fact that in 2 years MSFT has gone from 0% to 40% of the market. This is not due to IE being that much greater, it is simply because its bundled in to 95. So when you buy a new computer, like I did, there it is. I didn't even know what a browser was, so I initially activated it.
Eventually, something will come around to compete with MSFT, but it's going to be a while.
