I don't start out with any assumption that God is good, bad, or indifferent. I start out with the assumption that there is no basis whatsoever to assume that what God perceives as good, bad, or indifferent has any relationship whatsoever to the way in which we use and understand the terms. So trying to discuss God's value system in terms of our value system is useless and as much a waste of time as trying to discuss whether an avalanche is acting out of good or bad motives..
