Well, I've heard, (!), sometimes they can't see very well when they first pop out, Alex, so, so, so what...maybe that explains something...I don't get very "involved" if you take off my glasses. (Just a scientific point of view.) :o)

There are some schools of thought, I guess they would be called, in India (giggle), taht babies, new ones, can still "see", some of the "previous" world. Eg, "Sometimes when you see them 'looking' off into space, they're 'looking'". And some of their little giggles are belly laughs, succor from somewhere else. That's what they say, anyway, and it's kind of cute or interesting.
