One thing to consider re: Quad sales: It took until mid-Dec in California, for example, before all federal and state licenses were in place. Why the hell should D/M have a full-blown sales campaign in place, contacting every urologist, radiologist, oncologist etc. extolling the merits of Quad when the next response was, "Of course, we can'st sell it to you yet!"
Note how much emphasis and PR is being expended now that all 50 states are in play. Yes, the ramp up is slow but why souldn't it be! Just look at Prosticint as a mini-model. Six months ago Ask Arthur was virtually lnegative on the test and never recommended it. Lately, he almost always advises the procedure when the parameters are met. That's the way it goes in medicine. Someone is first, then it spreads locally, makes a journal, seminar or symposium gets discussed then, if it's good, rapidly becomes "cutting edge". If this is a reasonable scenario, than expect better Quad sale in, say July-Aug. The market looks ahead about 2 months for bios so price activity would begin to firm maybe in May-June if it's any good.
Patience (as though we haven't had any). We may be on the verge!! |
